Oliver's Meets the Excavator

Oliver has found a new way of getting down the stairs.  He goes down feet first with one leg as his guide leg and the other one as his break leg.  He bends it and slows himself on each stair.  I can't believe how fast he goes and he love it.

Doro came in one morning to find him almost completely climbing out of his crib, so he then graduated to his toddler bed.  He is such a good sleeper.  When it is time for bed he points to the clock, picks up all of his trucks, puts them in his bed and then crawls in the middle of them all and lays down.

They have live crabs at the best-Washington-can-offer-to-compare-to-Wegmans grocery store and he loves to go look and them.

I was out looking for a radio for my truck at a local scrap yard and Oliver spotted the excavator in the parking lot.  He watches an excavator video on youtube everyday and is obsessed with construction vehicles.  He was so excited.

On the way back from seeing the excavator we found a firetruck in a parking lot and had to stop and show him.  He loves firetrucks almost as much as construction equipment.

The other day he got his truck book, climbed into our bed, covered himself up and started reading.  Haha.

Oliver's First Hair Cut

Oliver's hair was getting out of control so it was time to make him look like a little boy again.  Doro was really sad to see his hair get cut, but he looks even cuter now.

Doro found this dump truck for him and it is his new favorite truck.  He pushes it around the house delivering whatever can fit into the back.  The other night he started speeding around the table pushing it and made Doro and I chase him with his other trucks.  When I paused to take a picture of him he would come around the corner, see the camera and flash his cheesy smile.

Apparently you have to tear up the tortilla, put it into the backhoe and then dump it out before you can eat it.

Oliver's Love of Trucks

Doro got him some bubbles whenever they would get close to his face he would squint his eyes.

Doro found him some little construction trucks and then I thought it would be fun to look them up on youtube so he could see them in action.  I found a kids series dedicated to trucks with specific videos for the backhoe and bulldozer, which are his toys.  Now the first thing he does every morning is grab his truck and push the chair over to watch the videos.  He makes his little backhoe scoop when the video is doing it.
"One at a time Oliver"

"Oliver do you want some milk?"  The first picture is what he does when we ask him to smile.
