Oliver's Fat Belly Bank

Hoot belly loves to dump out all the change from his fat belly bank and then put it all back in.

He can't go to bed now without both of the teddy bears that he got from great grandma.  He grabs both of them in one big hug and then lays down on top of them.  One was missing recently when he climbed into bed and he started doing circles looking for it until he would lay down.

Now that it is getting warm out he wants to spend all day outside.  He does lap after lap pushing his dump truck around the yard.

"Oliver, give Scout a kiss."  Then he starts pushing his paw until he gets to the song that he likes.

Oliver Feeds the Birds

Doro found him this car carrier and he loves it.

He discovered Chex mix this week and it is his new favorite snack.

On...Off...On...Off...On...Off...On...Off...

These are his 'inside rocks' that he will deliver to us with his trucks.

Now that the weather is getting better he takes his big dump truck outside and drives it around all over the yard.  He cruises it all over and and we can't believe how fast his little legs go.

When he is up on the deck we throw the ball up to him, he gets it, puts it between the rails and then pushes it through with his belly.  Haha.

We took him up to a nearby park and helped him feed the birds.  There were so many seagulls, and they got so close that we had to close the window.  He loves birds and was fascinated with feeding them.

Apparently we aren't the only ones obsessed with Oliver's chubby cheeks. This week at the play area in the local mall, a little 2 1/2 year old girl skipped up to Oliver and started trying to get his attention. She stood really close to him and then pointed at him and babbled something. The whole time Oliver was looking at Doro like "Mom, what is she doing... make it stop." Then this little girl put her hand up to his face, cupped his cheek and gave it a little squeeze!  I guess she couldn't believe how squish-able they were either!

I think he looks like Herald with his purple crayon in this picture.

What happened?

Since he isn't talking all that much yet, he will move both his hand back and forth and sometimes in circles when something is overwhelming or big.  It usually goes like this, "Oliver, sooo maaaany"
