Oliver's Truck Wash

Oliver decided to have a truck wash of his own after he helped Doro wash her car

After putting Oliver to bed one night we went down stairs to eat our pizza.   He got himself out of bed, toddled down and without saying anything sat down next to us and started eating the pizza.

He is good at saying his goodnight prayers now.

He fell asleep one night while sitting in the chair.  

Big hoot belly

The other day we went for a drive to see Mt.Rainier.  It was a nice day and we drove all the way out there only to find that the road leading up to the park he had picked was totally jammed with cars.  We ended up turning around because it was such a long wait.  At least we got to show him the mountain from the road.  

Camping with Jake, Robyn and Their Family

We went camping on the Oregon coast w/ Jake, Robyn and all their kids.  It was a ton of fun.  When we were setting up camp all he wanted to do was pound in the tent stakes.

Once he discovered the case to my lantern the trucks took second place.  Nick would put the top on the base and then he would throw it until it came apart again, which would be followed by a little, 'YAY!!'  

Trucks and a beach full of sand is all that a hoot belly needs.

Issac found a sand flea, caught it in his bucket and for some reason Oliver felt that it needed to be buried.

Oliver got his own camp chair for the trip.  He was so excited and sat it down next to ours by the fire.  We showed him how to carry it and he looks so grown up.

Happy Birthday Great Grandma Barbara

Happy Birthday.  He had so much fun in NY and we are so glad that he got to spend more time with you.  Thank you for being an excellent grandmother and great grandmother.  We all love you very much and hope that you have a wonderful day.

Oliver's Trip to NY

The first thing that he did when he got out of the car was find a hand truck and start pushing it around the yard.  He pushed it everywhere.

There wan't a hand truck at grandma Cathy's house, but he managed to find a wagon and pull that around the yard with his cousin Nate.

Oliver is 2 Years Old

Doro made a great rocket cake for him that he loved.   His little friend Ruby came over, he blew out his own candles, ate way too much cake, opened all of his gifts from everybody and had a great time.  

He pushed his dump truck around so much that he broke off the front wheels.  Doro found him this indestructible truck for his birthday and he was so excited that all he could say was, wow!!!  big wheels....  wow....  big... wow....  big truck....    wheels....   wow....    It was so cute.  We have never seen him that excited before.

Past Oliver Adventures

We got a bunch of cherries and Oliver discovered that he loves to pull the stems off.

We went up to visit a small town on the top of the peninsula to show him the water and boats, but he did not want anything to do with it in this picture.  Overall he had a lot of fun. 

Oliver went to my internship graduation and did so well.  He even maintained the tradition of smearing cake frosting on my white uniform like he did last year.
