Oliver's First Day of Pre-K

Climbing, curious Newt.  Washing machine, oven, dishwasher, cabinets, shower, bathtub, locks, knobs, light switches.  He pulls the stool over and climbs.

Oliver's creations are getting more complex

Oliver loves to draw, and Newter wanted to do it too.

See...

This is the beach we usually go to.  Oliver is pretty good at snorkeling.  There are bright blue star fishes here and we found one that day.

Oliver's container ship he drew.

Hoot and Newt fort.

This is the lego titanic and lego icebergs he made after watching a Titanic documentary.

We hiked to a small swimming hole not long ago.  We went with Oliver's friend Amelia.  They are the almost same age, are very cute together and she has just as many wiggles as he does.

I love this picture.  It is a fat tropical fish he saw while snorkeling.

Oliver's first day of pre-school.  He was so excited to go.  He goes every day for two hours and his teachers love him.  He is always drawing them pictures and coming home to tell us what he did that day.

I want to brush my own teeth.

Guam Hoots and Guam Newts

This was our first view when we woke up in the morning after we arrived.  We stayed in a little apartment at first, and then had to move to a hotel for a few days until our house was ready.

A few days after we arrived a Typhoon came through.  The wind and the rain were pretty strong, but that didn't keep Oliver  from wanting to go explore outside a little.  The wind was blowing strongly from behind him in this picture.

This is the fist time Oliver went to the beach here.  It is one of our favorite beaches on the island so far.  He fell in love with the water immediately.

This is the hotel room we stayed in for a few days.  Oliver got this squirt gun and kept spraying it off the balcony.

When we finally were able to move in our furniture hadn't arrived yet so we had to borrow some  and make a temporary bed for Oliver.

Oliver got some snorkeling gear and needed to get used to the mask in the shower first before going in the water.  He is very good at snorkeling now.

Our back yard turns into a pond when it rains heavy.

Newter loves light switches, knobs, locks and anything that similar.  He loves to sit on the counter like this.  Often Doro is cooking or in the kitchen and Newter is on the counter playing.

We have a picture almost just like this of Oliver when we moved in to Bremerton.

He loves, LOVES, legos.  These are some of his first creations.

I took Oliver on a hike to a little beach called Spanish Steps.  We had to hike along some rocks and through the jungle a little ways to get there.  He loved hiking and did great.

Newty with his bike helmet.  He loves riding on the back of my bike around the neighborhood.
